What Does Home Insurance Include?
Know your policy coverages: Coverage “A” for the structure of the home, Coverage “B” for personal belongings inside your home, Liability protection, living expense, replacement cost, guaranteed/extended replacement cost. If you have high-valued items like jewelry, art collections, furs and expensive electronics you will need to get a “qualified” appraisal and these items will need to be “scheduled” on your policy at an additional cost. Never assumed high-valued items are covered under your basic homeowners’ policy.
